Day 3239: What helps you feel safer?

Last night, as I was feeling safer, I asked this question on Twitter:

What helps me feel safer includes:

  • connecting with those I love,
  • expressing my fears without fear,
  • being appropriately cautious,
  • recognizing that perfect safety is not attainable,
  • trying out new things,
  • committing to the present moment,
  • letting go of needless worry,
  • self care,
  • laughing,
  • music,
  • being aware of my surroundings,
  • remembering how I have survived unsafe situations,
  • accepting all my feelings,
  • compassion,
  • forgiveness,
  • self-care, and
  • cats.

It also helps that today is World Kindness Day.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “what helps you feel safer?”

What helps you feel safer?

I believe that gratitude helps people feel safer, so thanks to all who help make this blog-space safer, including YOU!
