Yesterday, my plans included going to the Jam’n Java Open Mic for the last time and performing the new version of my song “Triggers.”
Other people there had plans to perform original songs, like Doug Greenfield, who writes Tiny Songs including “Step Away from that Cheese,” “Disappointing People,” “Born in a Hospital,” “The Women of AI,” and “Redneck Wannabe.”
You can find Doug on Spotify, and I have plans to eventually get my songs on there, too.
Originally, my plans for last night did not include recording my performance, but Doug was kind enough to capture it.
.
Some of the people at the Open Mic last night told me they had plans to attend my August 31 concert/fundraiser at the Lilypad.
When I think about plans, I remember the old saying, “Man plans, God laughs.” Or as my husband Michael says, “It’s Never What You Expect.” Hmmmm. My plans now include writing a song with one of those titles.
Do you see plans in my images for today?

.
As always, my plans for the day include expressing gratitude to all who made this blog post possible, including Doug Greenfield, all the people at the Jam’n Java Open Mic, my husband Michael, my friends on Twitter, the Daily Bitch, and YOU!
