There’s no suspense about whether I’m going to thank you at the end of this blog post, is there?
I don’t want to keep you in suspense, but I considered starting this blog post with “the suspense is killing me.”
I hope my suspense about what’s happening in my country isn’t actually killing me, but I fear these awful developments — measles outbreaks, cuts in essential and life-saving programs, the gutting of environmental protection, threats to people’s rights, alienation of allies, toxic narcissists/sociopaths in charge, etc. — will kill many people.
More suspense: Where are the effective leaders to help us out of this mess? How irrevocable is the damage being done? What will be the impact on future generations?
Nobody needs this kind of suspense.
What kinds of suspense do you see in my images for today?
