It seems like I’m always getting messages telling me that time’s running out. Maybe that’s because “time’s running out” is a standard marketing tool to inspire action.
Because we’re all mortal, yes, time’s running out. At the same time, it helps to hold the opposite thought that I have all the time I need.
Yesterday, at my cardiology appointment, I heard that time’s running out on my current pacemaker (it should last another six years). However, I didn’t hear any scary messages about how time’s running out for my very unusual heart.
Here and now, time’s running out for me to put this blog post together before I start my longest work day of the week.

Time’s running out to forward that email to 10 people!

Time’s running out for me to tell you how grateful I am for YOU!

I used to run with a group of like aged women. Now I’m 70 and it’s been at least 10 years since I’ve run. 70 seems like a big number. No other age has bothered me like this. Perhaps because both parents, in fact, mine and my husband’s parent all died at 75.
And when the news came on that AI could destroy the entire civilization in 10 years I wasn’t worried because heck, I’ll be 80 by then.
Years ago I thought I’d live to be 100. I have my doubts now. I’m sad about that.
You are not alone, Dawn. 💙

Hot August turned quickly to cool, rainy September. Time may be running out for my daughter’s welcome to camp in our garage, as my son will be getting anxious to get his car back under cover. I think we are going apt. hunting this weekend. Hope we find something good.
I hope you find what is needed in time, Barbara.
I recently picked up a young adult novel called The Cat Ate My Gymsuit by Paula Danziger. I started reading it in fifth grade and had to return it to the library before I could finish it. For some reason I’ve never forgotten it but only just decided to get back to it, realizing I have the time.
I appreciate your use of time, Chris.
