I’ve had many wonderful days in my long life but yesterday was especially wonderful. I walked around Lucerne, saw the Lion Monument, took an incredible trip across beautiful Lake Lucerne and up and down the spectacular Mt. Pilatus, and then attended an astonishing concert by the amazing pianist Hayato Sumino.
Can you see wonderful days in the images I’m sharing today?

.
I wonder if my wonderful days in Grindelwald will include a refrigerator in my room.
I look forward to listening to Hayato Sumino during many wonderful days ahead.

Many thanks to all who share wonderful days with me, including YOU!

Mountains, Ann! Mountains! (echoing Bilbo, exclaiming, Mountains, Gandalf! Mountains!) I’m a bit “mountain-sick” living so far from them now. And my daughter sets out today from Seattle on her way here.
Love your so-many photos, especially the whimsy of a few Swiss building murals, and the “saddest rock in the world,” as Mark Twain called the Dying Lion. And especially the one you have here showing a sweep down from your position with a valley lying beyond under more mountains. Beautiful vista!
Thanks for another wonderful comment, Barbara!
It’s wonderful that you’ve taken in to much of Lucerne and Switzerland, including the Lion of Lucerne. The sculptor, Bertel Thorvaldsen, also made a sculpture of Ganymede and Zeus that’s been reproduced widely, and my favorite sculpture of Mercury about to slay Argus.
Wonderful to know, my friend.
