Today is National Camera Day!

.
What better way to celebrate National Camera Day than to share the images I’ve recently captured on my smartphone?

What better way to celebrate National Camera Day than to share these Mel Brooks scenes captured on camera?
.
How about this tribute that includes Mel Brooks himself?
.
Now I have to get my camera ready for a ferry ride into Boston, where I hope to see my friend Diane (appearing on camera in two photos above).
Thanks to all who helped me create this National Camera Day post, including YOU!

My camera is my phone and I love to capture everything that draws me to it –
I can relate, beth!
I still celebrate the invention of the digital Canon camera I bought in 2005 to take to England with me. I hated the old fashioned cameras that I had, although I took some fairly good pictures with them. But almost every picture I took with that Canon digital was a gem.
Nice!
The camera has given us so much but right now I’m especially grateful that it led to motion pictures which allowed Mel Brooks to share his genius with the world. Teri Garr said he kept asking her to do one scene over and over. She finally asked him what he wanted. He said, “I got the shot earlier, but isn’t this fun?”
I imagine making any movie with Mel Brooks is fun.
Thanks for another fun comment, Chris.
Hope you enjoyed your visit with your friend Diane Anne! 😀
I did and I always enjoy your visits to my blog!
