Day 4817: Where is my mind?

Where is my mind when I wonder “where is my title for today’s post?”

.

Where is my mind as I prepare for a day when I’m getting a Botox injection for the clicking noises that affect my mind whenever I’m speaking?

Where is my mind as I share these other images with you?

.

Here’s what I find when I look for “where is my mind?” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to everyone who is here for this “where is my mind?” post, including YOU!

My mind is responding to one of your pictures: Some people get knocked off of their pedestals. Others just take their pedestals with them.

I love how cats find that tiny spot of sunlight to snooze in.

  4. Your jellyfish figure makes me wonder if jellyfish have minds. Stephen Jay Gould has a fascinating essay called “A Most Curious Paradox”, a fun nod to Gilbert and Sullivan, about how scientists can’t decide if the Portuguese man o’war and similar creatures are individuals or colonies. They start life as separate animals but come together and each one becomes so specialized they can’t live separately. The first time I read that I felt I missed a chance to study marine biology and devote myself to cnidarians. I’ve let go of that regret but they still fascinate me.
