Day 4468: What the f*ck is wrong with people?

Last night, after a wonderful day in Rome and Florence, my three traveling companions and I had a long conversation about what the f*ck is wrong with people in the USA and how so many there still support awful toxic narcissists in power.

Most was right with us in Italy that day except for somebody stealing Janet’s bag when we were in a cafe in Rome. That pickpocket probably said “What the f*ck is wrong with people?” when he discovered that Janet’s bag only contained her sunglasses and Advil.

When I saw today’s Daily Bitch Calendar …

… I asked this question on Twitter last night:

.

There is nothing wrong with my friends on Twitter and in real life.

Do you wonder what the f*ck is wrong with people what you look at my other images for today?

.

Instead of a video explaining what the f*ck is wrong with people, here’s one about the Roman Colosseum, the Forum, and Palatine Hill:

.

I don’t know WTF is wrong with people these days and I’m grateful to be spending time with people like YOU!

WTF wrong with people?? Well, for starters, we are humans. As such, humans have an uncanny knack for killing as sport even if they are not out in the wilderness hunting game. Humans bully the weak and infirm. Humans bully those different who deviate from what we call normal. Their bullying sometimes leads to suicide or worse.

What is worse than suicide? Low self esteem that leads to a life of addiction to vices all of which only serve to bring the low self esteem even lower. Bullying is the neutron bomb; it leaves the building standing but destroys the living inside it.

  2. May there be some right things today, Ann.

  3. Glad you are somewhere wonderful with friends.

I didn’t go to the Colosseum – didn’t notice for too long that my ticket to the Palatine included it, but when I did notice I was hot and tired and there was a long line. There were guys dressed as Praetorian guards, though. Very colorful. Thinking of the Colosseum, however, it reminds us that people have always had a taste for blood. Within those walls, people cheered as men fought each other and beasts to the death. I suspect that today’s boxing matches and other contact sports are a little disappointing if no blood has been spilled. You’re off to Florence?

  5. I was talking about scams with some other friends recently and realized that society depends on people trusting each other. And unfortunately as long as people are trusting there will always be those who will exploit that. The fact that society mostly functions should give me hope that most people are trustworthy but it’s hard to be optimistic these days.
