Sometimes I consider not reading the news, but that won’t make the news go away.
Here are the rest of my images for this I-read-the-news-today post:

It’s no surprise what I find on YouTube when I search for “I read the news today.”

Thanks to all who help me keep on sharing even when I read the news today, including you.

Yes, Ann, that ever-fantastic Beatles song sprang immediately to my mind as soon as I read your headline.
We read things similarly, my friend.
Your welcome, Anne! <3
🙏💙💕
I’m about to read the news, today, but I just read your headline here and Oh, My! I know he was never going to get the chance to lead Russia out of the Putin morass, but where there was life there was hope. Another faint candle in the darkness snuffed.
Thanks for the light you shine in the darkness, Barbara.
Agreed, the news can be very disturbing. Sometimes I can’t make myself read past the headline.
You’re not alone, my friend.
Absolutely heartbreaking
💔💙💕
It’s hard to read the news some days, especially on days like today. I have a friend in Australia, who came to mind since it’s Tim Tam Day. Sometimes we joke that he gets the news a day earlier and can warn me of what’s coming.
I’m glad to have friends like you, Chris.
The news focused on the death of Navalny, but paid little attention to the death of Andrea Bocelli about whom the whole world ought to mourn. He brought such love and joy to the world through his life, his music. Ah, what a loss!
Hi, Jan, I read the news today that Andrea Bocelli is still alive! 🎉
Oh my, so the news of his death was a hoax??
Yes!
Well, I am relieved, to say the least! So why the false notifications? Strange!!
Apparently, this keeps happening with him — his death being announced on the internet.
How sad!!
