Day 3983: Feeling sorry for myself

Because I sometimes, for moments, feel sorry for myself, I am not sorry to share today’s Daily Bitch Calendar.

.

Now I’m feeling sorry for myself because (1) sitting there feeling sorry for yourself does NOT burn calories, (2) my ankle is painful and swollen after walking long distances yesterday, (3) my jaw is still clicking, (4) I have a bruise on my finger because (I assume) I was holding the sticks incorrectly when playing the drums waiting for my teacher who never showed up on Sunday, and (5) I have to check my blood again this morning again because my INR was too low last time.

Okay! Time to stop feeling sorry for myself and share my other images for today.

.

On Make Your Own Head Day, I shall get out of my own head and stop feeling sorry for myself.

I’m sure Eric Johnson’s Ah Via Musicom album will help:

.

Thanks to all who help me stop feeling sorry for myself, including YOU!!

Great choice the Eric Johnson song, the whole album is amazing

  2. I’ve been feeling sorry for myself a lot lately because I’m having so much trouble playing an F chord on the ukulele. There are a lot of supportive and encouraging people out there, which is great, and I’m doing my best to take the time I spend feeling sorry for myself as just a break before I go back to trying.

What’s really wrong for feeling sorry for yourself? I’m sorry you had a bad day, hope tomorrow is better for you, Ann. I love the writing on the greeting card- it’s so true.

  4. I hope things go better today, Ann. I was feeling sorry for myself yesterday when smoke starting pouring out of the top of our stove when I was broiling something for my lunch in the bottom of it. When it wouldn’t stop after I turned it off, I called 911, half the helpful fire department and two state troopers immediately arrived to diagnose the problem, and my dear wife Karen and I will be shopping for a new stove.

  5. I hope your ankle feels better soon and that your drumming instructor has a very good excuse that soothes your feelings without compelling you to bring him soup or anything.

Sounds like a rough start to the morning. I hope the rest of the day worked out better.
