Personally, I believe that smart is cool every day of the year, and I wonder why so many other people don’t share that opinion.

A 7th thing to do when you’re angry: somewhere around here I have a Dammit Doll that a friend gave me for my birthday. It’s just what you think it is. A stuffed doll meant to be held by the legs and struck upon a table top all the while muttering, “Dammit, dammit, dammit.” Mine looks a little like an Aztec figurine, thereby lessening the effect of torturing a human being. More like expressing anger with the gods. It’s cool! And the fact that I reference the Aztecs? Just a little smart! 🙂

Smart was cool even before Huey Lewis said it was hip to be square and has gotten even cooler since. How I finally came to accept that what I used to think made me an outside actually makes me part of a very cool community is something I can babble on and on about.
