Looking back at yesterday’s Daily Bitch Calendar, I see where all the monsters are.

I don’t know if I agree with the Daily Bitch Calendar that all the monsters are in back of me, since I see monsters elsewhere.
When we look back at my other images from yesterday, are there monsters there?
Therapists EVERYWHERE must deal with the monsters within their patients and themselves.
Here‘s “Calling All the Monsters” with China Anne McClain from A.N.T. Farm:
Where do you think all the monsters are?
Looking back again, I thought the coronavirus monster might be at CVS when I snapped this photo yesterday:

Anxiety can growl and roar from just about anywhere, yes, Ann.
Thank you for another monstrously perceptive comment, my friend.
All the monsters are in the cookies. That’s why you need to delete all the cookies from your browser. LOL!
The calories are in the cookies too, my sweet and funny friend!

Last week my brother was diagnosed unexpectedly with a very aggressive leukaemia and none of us have been allowed to visit him since he has been in the hospital (where he went immediately after the phone call), nor are we allowed to bring him things. He has started chemo and will be in hospital a long time. Because of COVID, he is not even allowed to leave his room. I don’t know how to support or comfort him at all. Your comment about therapists also struggling with extra burdens because of coronavirus resonates with me. I have a phone session scheduled with my therapist today (as I do every week or two) and I am worried about adding to their stress. I had already been worrying about that. I don’t want to harm anybody’s mental health and I understand that therapists’ lives are as disrupted as everybody’s.
I’m sorry about your brother and don’t worry about adding to your therapist’s stress. That was not my intent. We therapists appreciate that empathic people like you worry about us, but we always want you to bring your whole self to the meeting. And these days, almost everybody’s whole self includes anxiety and grief.
I’m sorry about your brother. Therapists have their own stresses because they don’t heed their own advice sometimes, or see what an impartial observer sees. Use him/her and put your own mask on first. That will be the only way you can help your family. Take care and stay safe! <3
I appreciate all you express, Kristine and Maureen!
All my monsters are on the soles of my walking shoes. I go out to squash them every day. Some need an extra kick, or a stamp, to help them on their way!
Thanks for the pondering poem about monsters!
The monsters are hiding in plain site
I’m glad you’re not hiding, Jo-Anne.
the monsters are wherever we find them, some we invite in, some show up on their own, it’s how we deal with them that makes all the difference. thank you for helping others with their monsters. this should be on your card or resume.
That should be on your card and resume too, my friend.
As Sondheim might say, send in the monsters…
Send in the comments, Chris (even if it takes me a while to see one).
