No matter what is going on in your life right now, be your own hero.

Even when your blogging platform (a metaphor for LIFE) throws changes at you that you cannot control* which make things more confusing and difficult, be your own hero.
Even if your eye turns red frequently because you’re on anticoagulants …

… be your own hero.
Even when you have trouble remembering things, be your own hero.

Even when you have a strangely-shaped heart (or anything else that’s unique, different, or weird), be your own hero.

Even when you have to rush, be your own hero.

Even when you have all sorts of feelings …

… like when $&@^!!?&%£!! WordPress makes it MUCH harder and time consuming to add photos and is probably totally screwing up the formatting of this post, be your own hero.
Even when you can’t always be first class …

… be your own hero.
Even when you have trouble making decisions …

… be your own hero.
Even when you are planning a 50th high school reunion in an ageist culture, be your own hero.

Even when you have to rely on other heroes to get things done, be your own hero.
Even when you have no idea how people are going to receive what you send out into the world (like this blog post), be your own hero.

Yea. You’re a hero, I’m a hero. We’re heroic every day we get up and start over. Big hug.
Big hug to you, my heroic friend.
I hope your reunion-planning goes well. Sorry it harder than usual to post photos. I enjoyed the photos.
I think trying to be my own hero is out of reach right now but you have inspired me to try to not be my own enemy today.
You are my hero, Maureen.
At the end of the day, we are our own best friend. Have a nice day, Ann
Thanks for being a friend to yourself and to us!
Just planning a fiftieth high school reunion means your life has been quite an adventure, and who better to be the hero of your own adventure than you?
Thanks for being part of my adventure, my heroic friend.
I love the voter decision maker!
Thanks for this heroically lovely comment, Peter!
Be my own hero you say, not sure how, with a body that is falling apart
Heroes often have bodies that are falling apart, my heroic friend.
I love that protocol for voting. It’s probably more detailed than most people’s reasons for voting for one or the other. It’s always good to be your own hero. And we’re lucky when we find other people we can regard that way.
I regard you that way, my heroic friend.
I will have to think about where I can be my own hero, but I sure do like the sound of it! 🙂
You’re my hero, Debra, here and everywhere!
I thought I was being heroic persevering with the Gutenberg editor for so long. Eventually I gave up and reverted to the Classic.
Knowing when to persevere and when to give up are both heroic, my heroic friend.
🙂
