I let things come to me every morning after I wake up, including the title of my daily blog post. This morning, I was considering naming this post “Self Care,” since that was the topic of my therapy group last night. However, lately I’ve been following a new tradition of getting my blog post titles from teabags, and this is the teabag that most recently came to me:

Let things come to you, including these three other photos I took yesterday:

I’m letting these things come to me, here and now:
- The realization that I left a few words out of the questions I wrote on the white board during group last night.
- “Just do it” is good advice about self care AND about letting things comes to you.
- My Secret Santa at work is letting chocolate come to me.
Let things come to you, including this music:
Now I’ll let things come to me, including comments from you.
Let my gratitude come to all who helped me create this post and to you — of course! — for coming to this blog today.
Hope good things come your way all day today, Ann.
I’m grateful whenever you come my way, Maureen.
As a kid I often felt frustrated by what I thought was contradictory advice from adults: “Good things come to those who wait” versus “The Lord helps those who help themselves”.
It was Kenny Rogers who taught me that you’ve got to know when to fold ’em and when to hold ’em.
The question I still ask, though, is, when will I learn to know the difference?
Good things come to those who wait and he who hesitates is lost, so this good thing is coming without hesitation.
I let chocolate come to me…almost every day, in some form. 💕
So glad you came to me today, sweetie.
It’s kind of like leaving things to fate….let go and let it happen. Have a good weekend Ann ❤
I’m glad you let this comment happen, Lisa. <3
I like that chocolate covered snowmen come to you every day — what a lovely tradition to let come into being!
And I love your teabags. I want those teabags to come to me too! 🙂
Have a happy letting things come to you day.
I’m happy you came to me today, Louise. <3
Letting things come to one isn’t always easy for some people, it’s easy for me as I am a lazy person just saying, chocolate covered snowmen or santa clauses can come to me any day of the week although when it is stinking bloody hot they might melt
You can come here any day, Joanne. <3
I’m so glad I let this post come to me today Ann! Perfect timing 💛
It’s perfect whenever you come to us on WordPress, Val. <3
Yes, letting chocolate come to me is a very good idea… I must remember to do this.
Lots of good ideas come to you!

I’m very late at letting my reply to this comment come to you, Maria!
Why is a tea bag like a door? Because they both now hold the key
How do these things come to you, Derrick?
🙂 Through your pics!
The teabag idea is great. I’ve been thinking about what gets in the way of self care, and my answer is “everyone else” care. For instance, I had a day off today and had lovely plans to fill my mind with soul-enriching activities. Yet again, though, another friend had a crisis. I love my good friends so dearly, so I attended as I should. At what point, I wonder, do I stop placing self-care on the back-shelf? It’s a dilemma for sure. I do have this evening, though, but then back to work.
Let self-care come to you — it’s VERY important. I’m grateful for every caring comment of yours that comes to me on WordPress.
