What are you afraid of?
Within the last week, I’ve heard about people who are afraid of
- the dark,
- heights,
- war,
- people who abuse positions of power,
- the media,
- molesters,
- being seen as a molester,
- the police,
- world leaders,
- science,
- ignorance,
- doctors,
- dentists,
- infections,
- sickness,
- aging
- death,
- taxes,
- failure,
- success,
- school,
- working too much,
- working too little,
- making mistakes,
- driving,
- bicyclists,
- loss,
- certain thoughts,
- certain feelings,
- feeling too good,
- going outside,
- staying inside,
- action,
- inaction,
- the weather,
- being alone,
- crowds,
- social events,
- marriage,
- divorce,
- becoming less attractive,
- becoming an adult,
- men,
- women,
- cats,
- dogs,
- mice,
- bugs,
- snakes,
- phones,
- cotton balls, and
- peaches.
Is anyone afraid of any of these photos?

I’m afraid that one major emotion is missing from that Time special edition cover. Are they afraid of anger?
Here‘s how to let go of pain/fear/anger in 60 seconds.
Are you afraid of leaving a comment? I hope not.
What am I afraid of? Heights, the dark, the cold, and forgetting to express gratitude to all who help me create these posts and — of course! — to YOU.

What, me worry? I’ve found that the more I worry, the less effective I am at what I’m worried about. That being said, several items on that long list did look familiar. Have a great day.
What, me worry about Ray? Thanks for another effective, great comment.
Hmmm….fears. Don’t have a lot of them, but have a lot of niggling worries where I make some up. You’ve addressed THAT in other posts. Thanks for this one!
Thanks for this comment, Lisa!
I feel pretty good that I am not afraid of peaches, Ann. 😮
Thanks for another fruitful comment, Mark.
oh the list would be too long for here…. elevators, heights, flying, stormy weather, pain and suffering, bugs, just to name a few. I am never afraid to pop over to your blog however!!
I’m never afraid of you either, Lisa!
My biggest fear is spiders, apparently No1 in phobias. I’m getting better though and can tolerate the little ones…… ish
Thanks for this courageous comment.
I have a friend abroad who seems incapable of understanding he is in dire straits, thanks to lack of income and a landlord who, reasonably, expects a certain number of euros a month to let my friend live in the landlord’s apartment. I fear my friend will become homeless in a foreign land with no support system. Were I very wealthy, I would subsidize my friend. I am not, so just have to watch the train wreck happen….
I’m not afraid of you or your empathy. Thanks for the concerned comment.
My greatest fear is being locked out of my house.
Thanks for sharing your fear, Andrew.
Escalators – with those teeth things, and disappearing stairs. I avoid them at any cost.
Thanks for not avoiding my blog, SD.
I’m afraid that I will forget that love trumps fear, Ann! ♡
Diana xo
I’m not afraid that you will ever forget that, Diana. <3 xx oo
It wasn’t until a few years ago that I first heard of “white coat syndrome”, for people who are afraid of doctors. It’s understandable, though. Who else tells you when you’re sick?
Thanks for another telling comment, Chris.
too much fear in the society and in the world .
you have well highlighted the oroblem ? and also with
…a great illustration
Love <3
Michel
Love conquers fear, Michel. Thanks so much.
I am not afraid of any of these images because they are images and not real in my face things
I’m glad you’re not afraid, Joanne.
I’ve always had a fear of truly being myself and not being good at anything.
I hope you can let go of that fear. Thanks for being yourself and for the very good comment.
I’m afraid of our world leaders….. And I’m also afraid of not saving up enough, to travel over to your America and see ya’all….
Thanks for traveling over to this American blog, Ivor. Always good to see you.
Heights – but I think you know that
I’m not afraid of your comments — but I think you know that.
